1. Code Geass

This anime is a perfect masterpiece. All the action and the story is so perfect that you will fall love with this anime. This anime has two season and both the season have 25 episodes. Making it’s total length of 50 episodes.
In this anime, the story revolves around Lelouch which is the main character in this anime. Many years ago his mother was killed and he was exiled from the kingdom. That time he took an oath that one he will destroy Britania. I am pretty sure you are wondering that what is I am talking about. Well, you will know when you will watch this anime one time.
The best thing about Lelouch is his mind and his personality. He is very bad-ass and he has a power of the Geass, which let him control the minds of other people. He used his brain and his skill to defeat many of his enemies. One other thing is, he does not think for one second before killing the other person. All the series even in the end went exactly as he planned.

2. FullMetal Alchemist/FullMetal Alchemist – Brotherhood

This is a great anime which has two main character. They are Edward Elric and Alphonse Elric and they are together known as Elric Brothers. In this anime, there is a greater concept of Alchemy is shown. According to this anime series, you can create anything from alchemy but for that, you also have to destroy the same amount of thing.
This is known as the Equivalence exchange. That means you will give something and will get something in return. For example : You can give 1 Kg of Iron and can get 1 Kg of Gold. Isn’t that great?
Using the same principle, the Elric brothers tried to bring their mother back to life. But they forgot the most important thing a human body needs, i.e. soul. So something terrible happened in that incident. Edward lost his one hand and one leg and Alphonse lost his whole body. So, they went on a quest to get their body back to its original.
There are two FullMetal Alchemist Series. First was the old one which is FullMetal Alchemist and the other one is FullMetal Alchemist Brotherhood. The Brotherhood series is a remake of the original one but with some addition. Some elements are changed and the story is a lot better in the Brotherhood.

3. Hellsing/Hellsing Ultimate

Just like the FullMetal Alchemist, Hellsing also have a remake. Hellsing which was old and Hellsing Ultimate is the new one. I have seen both and the Hellsing Ultimate is just too better than the old one.
The story revolves around the Vampire Alucard who is a family pet of the Hellsing Family. Hellsing family is an organisation that protects England from Vampires by killing them. Only a single member of that family is now left and she is Sir Integra Wingates Fairbrook Hellsing. Alucard is their main weapon and he will do whatever the Sir Integra will tell him to do.
Alucard is a complete Monster and he can’t be killed by any means. He will come back to life no matter what happened to him. He is completely indestructible. In the beginning of the story, he turned a police girl to vampire and she assisted him on every job. He is very loyal to Sir Integra and will never disobey.
This show is seriously not for kids. As it contains too much violence and blood scenes. It only have 10 episodes and I am pretty sure, once you watch it you will never forget it.

4. Darker Than Black

This short anime consist of 3 series and all of them are awesome. This story revolves around Hei who is a contractor. Contractor are those people who got special power but they have to pay a price to use them. The price of those powers can be simple such as smoking a cigarette or can be much more painful such as cutting your self.
Hei is a complete badass character in this anime. He never smile and he didn’t talk much but he always wins in a fight. He has the power to manipulate electricity and he goes by the name “Black Reaper”. He is constantly killing people throughout the series. There was a time when he didn’t have these powers and he still killed many contractors that time.
Hei is smart and very athletic and fast. In the last series he will lose his powers (Sorry for the spoiler) but he still managed to kill his enemies.

 

5. Death Note

I don’t think there is anyone who doesn’t hear this name. This is a great anime and contains lots of blood, death and violence that might not be suitable for kids.
The main character in this anime is Light Yagami who one day found a book named as “Death Note”. This book holds a great power. Any name written in this book will die in 15 minutes. But, to kill someone by using this book, you have to know the complete name of the person and his face.
I like this anime because of the character in this anime. Light Yagami is completely ruthless. He doesn’t think for a moment before killing anyone and that thing makes him awesome. Other than that, he got a brilliant mind and he is too clever. He managed to kill the best detective in the world and fooled almost all the top police agents of his city, including his father.
He knows how to use people and he also know how to kill them. Death Note is a complete package.

6. Code Breaker

Code Breaker is a real short anime and only consists of 13 Episodes. Code Breaker has a great story which revolve around a group of people who are known as Code Breakers. Don’t think that they are some kind of hackers or Computer Programmers.
Code Breaker actually is a misnomer. There are six people in the Code Breaker and every one has a special power. They are ranked from one to six according to their power levels. The number six is Rei Ogami and he is the main character in this story.
He is completely ruthless and very powerful. He can kill anyone and doesn’t care about the consequences. He even killed his superiors because they called him a dog. He is number doesn’t mean that he is the weakest in Code Breaker. Actually it does mean that, but it is because he hides most of his powers. Not much of this is revealed in the anime that why he hides his power. He say that, he made a promise to a friend to hide more than half of his power.
In the last episode of the anime, he revealed all of his power. At that moment he completely transformed and all of the other Code Breakers seems nothing in front of him.

7. Kaze No Stigma

Kaze No Stigma is a great anime and consist of 24 episodes. The main character in this anime is Kazuma Yagami. He was born in a family of fire magic users. But, from the birth he doesn’t have the power to control the fire. His father was the greatest warrior in that family and he was destined to become the next leader in the family. But, since he was weak and doesn’t have the power to control fire, his father throw him out of the family.
That time he was just an innocent kid and he hardly managed to get back to his feet. After that, he fell in love with a girl and due to some circumstances that girl died.
In this anime, it is shown that every element (Wind, Fire, Earth etc.) has a lord or God. Now each lord choose a special person to become his contractor and have the power to control the element. That doesn’t mean that, those who are not contractors cannot control the elements. But, the contractor will be the most powerful of them all and since there are four element, hence there can only be four contractors who will be the strongest.
When the girl, which Kazuma loved died, he became the contractor of the Wind. That means instead of fire, he got the power of the wind.
After four years, he returned to his home town. And, after that the story starts. Kazuma is shown to be the most powerful person from the start of the story. He got a bad boy attitude and can defeat anyone very easily. He is very famous due to his skills and even the most powerful members of the Yagami family, cannot stand against him for more than 5 minutes.
This is a great story with an awesome character.

8. Devil May Cry

I am pretty sure you have heard this name. This anime is based on the popular Play Station game “Devil May Cry”. It has the great style and unique story line with just 12 episodes.
Devil May Cry follow the story of Dante who is half demon and half human. He runs a business with name Devil May Cry, where he take the assignment to kill the demons. At the starting of the anime, he saved a small girl and now she live with him.
He is very powerful and has a laid back attitude. He is mostly declined the work and has lots of borrowed money. Through out the story he goes on killing the demon with his gun and his mighty sword.

9. Demon King Daimao

As the name suggest, it is about the demon king. Demon King Daimao is a small anime and only consist of 12 episodes. A great anime which contains lots of action and comedy as well.
The story revolves around Akito Sai who wants to become the high priest which are countries highest magical council. To become that, he must not do any wrong thing throughout his life. So, to complete his dream he took admission in Constant Magical Academy. At the academy, he goes through a future prediction test where it was declared that he will become the next Demon King.
According to the anime, there was a person who was known as the Demon King. He could control all the demons and such other beasts and has enormous power. He tried to completely destroyed the humanity and Akito Sai was declared to be the successor of him.
So, from the beginning he shows super strength and magical power. In the end of the story he did become the Demon King but something else happened.

10. Blue Exorcist

Blue Exorcist is a good anime and I just finished it. The anime consists of 25 episodes and it has action and comedy as well. In this anime, as the name suggest, the good guys are exorcist. They defeat demons and save humanity from them.
Many Years ago, prior to the story there was a girl Yuri Egin. She was an exorcist but she gave birth to the child of Satan. The boy name was Rin Okumura. He never came to know that he is demon, until he was 16. After that some serious events take place and the one who was his care taker was killed by Satan.
He then went on to become an Exorcist. He goes through training and some other stuff. He kept a sword with himself. This sword was used to seal his power. So, when ever he put the sword out, his power returned and made him a demon.
In the beginning it was shown as a novice in Exorcist and an idiot as well. But, still he is the son of Satan and that makes him the Ultimate demon and most powerful as well.
